夜色直播appannounces writing groups for UK Quality Code Advice and Guidance

Date: September 2 - 2024

夜色直播apphas confirmed the membership of the writing groups for the first three sets of Advice and Guidance to underpin the 2024 UK Quality Code.

The 2024 edition of the UK Quality Code, published in June, will be accompanied by Advice and Guidance aligning to each of the Quality Code’s 12 Sector-Agreed Principles. The Advice and Guidance will help providers to unpack and engage with each of the Quality Code’s Principles and Key Practices.

Expert readers and writers have been appointed to develop the first tranche of Advice and Guidance from September 2024 to June 2025 covering:

  • Principle 1: Taking a strategic approach to managing quality and standards
  • Principle 2: Engaging students as partners
  • Principle 8: Operating partnerships with other organisations.

You can see the full development schedule for the Advice and Guidance which will take place over three years. In the meantime, we will share a transitions document that will indicate how the existing Advice and Guidance, which was created to support the 2018 Quality Code, can continue to be used in relation to the 2024 edition. That transitions document will be available in the autumn.

A full list of the writing groups and their membership is available on our website.

Dr Ailsa Crum, QAA’s Director of Membership, Quality Enhancement and Standards, said:

‘We’re enormously grateful to everyone who put their names forward to participate in this work. It’s so inspiring to see the enthusiasm and wealth of experience of colleagues across the sector who volunteer their time and experience to take part. We very much look forward to working with our new writing and reading group members in the months ahead. Their considerable contribution is essential in ensuring that the UK Quality Code and the underpinning Advice and Guidance remains a valuable, sector-led resource for higher education providers across the UK and beyond.’
