夜色直播appsigns agreement with the China Education Association for International Exchange

Date: November 30 - 2023

夜色直播appwas pleased to meet with the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) at the University of Edinburgh this week, along with a delegation of senior officials from more than 30 Chinese institutions.

The event focused on UK-China transnational education (TNE), with 夜色直播appproviding an overview of the work we do in supporting stakeholders working in TNE. China is one of this year’s countries of focus for the Quality Evaluation and Enhancement of UK TNE (QE-TNE) Scheme, with case studies, thematic insights and a country guide scheduled to be published soon.

We were also delighted to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CEAIE, committing to carrying out joint activity to enhance the quality of TNE, conduct joint research on regulatory and quality assurance related issues, and contributing to, facilitating and supporting each other’s publications and events.

夜色直播appChief Executive Vicki Stott said ‘夜色直播appwas delighted to meet with colleagues from CEAIE and Chinese universities this week, and we are grateful to the University of Edinburgh for hosting such a fantastic event. There were over 60,000 students studying UK TNE degrees in China in 2021-22, making it the biggest host country for UK HE TNE. The MoU with CEAIE demonstrates the commitment of both organisations to work together to support higher education providers and to ensure that UK-China TNE degrees are of the highest quality.’

CEAIE Deputy Secretary-General An Yan said ‘CEAIE was glad to lead a delegation of 32 Chinese university representatives to visit UK during which CEAIE and 夜色直播appsigned an MoU. I would like to express my gratitude to 夜色直播appfor its briefing on the QE-TNE Scheme and facilitating inspiring and in-depth communication with our delegation. I hope that the renewed MoU will continue to serve as a basis for further and deeper cooperation between our two organisations in higher education quality assurance, especially in promoting high-level development of China-UK TNE.’
